The gurdwara is located in amritsar district near attari wagah border and is run by Bakhshish Charitable Society with aim of providing help to old and handicapped persons, by organizing mass medical camps where free operations for eye lens, and distributions of artificial limbs are provided free of cost to the needy although the expenses of doctors, transportation boarding and lodging are borne by management and donations of sadh sangat.
The organization has camps year around in less developed border district off punjab like tarn tarn, amritsar, gurdaspur etc.
