Gurdwara Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Ghat or Kangan Ghat is situated on the banks of river Ganga about 200 yards from Sri Patna Sahib. It is popular as Kangan Ghat where child Gobind Rai had thrown his gold bangle into the Ganges. On the same bank Gobind Rai had blessed mental peace to Pandit Shivdat, a devotee of Sri Ram. On the ghat Pandit Shivdat found a path to lead a peaceful life with blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He directed people not to worship idols but devote to only one God. Throwing Kangan(bangle) in the Ganga he asked people not to be fond of maya (wealth). At present there is a small Gurudwara but according to the new scheme, more land has been allotted to the Takht Patna Sahib Committee adjoining to the present premises of Kangan Ghat.
