Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Rohtak is a sikh shrine situated at Mata Darwaja Chowk, Rohtak. This gurudwara is related to the ninth Guru of Sikhs- Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji. In Rohtak, Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib ji stayed for 3 days. He stayed at a pond side and tied his horse to one of the trees there. Guru Ji also had a well dug there, which has now been covered. The people here, who, at that time were lying totally hopeless, got the message of Truth from Guru ji and Guru ji told them to pray and meditate on God. From Anandpur, he came down to Kiratpur. After visiting, Ropar, Nanhera etc. he proceeded towards south and then reached Saifabad, from Saifabad to Samana and then he went to Kaithal and Jind. Then from Lakhanmajra he came down to Rohtak.
