When SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI left for Deccan, he desired Mata Sundri Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji to proceed to Delhi. Both Mata Sundri Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji stayed at Haveli of Bhai Jawahar Singh in Turkman Gate Later on separate haveli was built for them where they lived with their adopted Son Ajit Singh. After SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI left for heavenly abode. Mata Sundri Ji was completely in her high esteem and every one obeyed her instruction. From this very sacred place Mata Sundri Ji appointed Bhai Mani Singh Ji head Granthi Singh of Shri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. Bhai Mani Singh Ji settled the dispute between the Bandai and Tat Khalsa according to the wishes of Mata Sundri Ji. Here only Bhai Shihan Singh received the writing of GURU GOBIND SINGH JI from Bhai Mani Sngh Ji and revised those writings. Mata Sundri Ji spent the most valuable period of her life in this haveli, before she left for heavenly abode in Samvat 1804 Bikrami (1747 AD). Her Samadhi was built by the side of Mata Sahib Kaur who left for heavenly adobe in Samvat 1790 Bikrami. These sacred samadhis exist today with the samashi of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib at Gurdwara Bala Sahib, New Delhi.
